Amy Patel Jain, MD
Above all, Dr. Jain is an advocate of health, wellness, and self- love. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine as a UC Regent's Scholar and received a Bachelor's in Science degree in Biological Sciences. After completing college, she attended the University of California, Irvine for medical school. It was there that I developed a passion for oculofacial plastic surgery--a niche subspecialty of ophthalmology that focuses on the area around the eyes and face. She completed her ophthalmology residency at UC Irvine Medical Center, the only level 1 trauma center in Orange County, and served as chief resident. After residency, she completed a 2 year ASOPRS oculofacial plastic surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During that time, her focuses included eyelid/periorbital rejuvenation aesthetic surgery such upper and lower lid blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift, minimally invasive procedures such as botulinum toxin, filler treatment, and thyroid eye disease.
She also published in several peer-reviewed journals and was a co-investigator in the Tepezza phase 3 clinical trial which is now FDA approved for the treatment of thyroid eye disease.
Outside of work, she loves exercising, reading, traveling the world, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is an Orange County native and excited to be a part of the local community.
